David B. Blackburn graduated with a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Mississippi in 2000 and a Master’s in Accountancy in 2001.

After graduation, David joined Deloitte & Touche in Nashville, TN before getting into the commercial real estate development business through the formation of his company The Blackburn Group. Through the Blackburn Group, David brings a 15 plus year career of experience and expertise to Streamline Development Partners. The Blackburn Group has been named to the Inc. 500’s fastest growing private businesses in America for five years in a row with a ranking as the #1 fastest growing company in the State of Mississippi. Currently, The Blackburn Group has over $150M in real estate projects under development in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Texas.

In 2018, David was recognized as one of the Top CEOs of Mississippi and Top 50 under 40 by the Mississippi Business Journal.

David resides in Oxford, MS with his wife, Karen, and their two sons, Collins and Niles. David currently serves on the Board of Governors for the Ole Miss Athletics Foundation, the Executive Committee and Board of Directors for the Ole Miss Alumni Association, and the Capital Needs Committee and the Finance/Investment Committee for St. Peter’s Episcopal Church. He has served in the past on the Board of Directors for the United Way and Chamber of Commerce in Oxford, the Board of Directors for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes for North Mississippi, and as a Sunday school teacher for St. Peter’s Episcopal Church.
